2014 Summary

The year has come to an end, 9th grade was REALLY art blocky for me, but as soon as summer started, my creativity spark came back! After 2 years I have the motivation to do art good again! I’ll explain why later, but now, description.

January: Freshmen year had been going somewhat well, I still didn’t appreciate (and probably still don’t actually) my friend’s attitudes towards certain subjects and people, they still need to mature and realize their mistakes. One of my friends had been feeling suicidal, thankfully that was working out. Although there were good times, 9th grade had been an emotionally sad year for me, for art, friends, and missing people. February: So! February was just nothing until the last two weeks, Probably my best animation yet, is my Expressions Project video for freshmen year, I do admit though, I COULD have done better if given more time. March: I don’t think much happened in March? I made a musician avatar and started to be affiliated with pink more. Also I believe this is also the month where I realized my true sexual orentation, for it is not heterosexual, but rather heteroflexable. April: So I turned 15 this month, yada yada. The main thing that happened this month however is the updated alias, aka the way I draw my self. I realized how the first time I drew my short hair was somewhat unrealistic and didn’t look the same anymore, so I drew my hair more accurate to what I have irl, also I started drawing a beard on myself. May: This is probably the month where I started to realize how depressed I started to become since the start of freshmen year. Like the lack of art I’ve produced and how there was no one left to motivate me to draw anymore online. Though regardless of that, this is where I started to get better at art as well, but not bothering putting out what I improved in, the evidence of this is the remake of Simon/Mika’s ref page. June: Okay, let me tell you, I am SO THANKFUL that TechCity rebooted, contributing to the group sparked creativity to me again, a spark of creativity and motivation I haven’t had in years. Because of TechCity’s reboot, I was able to be happy with my art again, thanks Celly. ALSO, I decided to audition for RebootOCT, trying once more to get into an OCT, something I’ve tried for 3 years but failed. Thanks to TechCity, I was able to harness my skills to the test and work on it. I made a fully functioning character in a game called Don’t Starve as well! Art: tigertony10.deviantart.com/art…

July: Though my motivation and creativity returned, I did feel a jealousy between friends, but that was quickly disregarded as I realized I wasn’t going to lose anything, so it’s all good. I made a new DA ID, with previews of re-designed characters, and made an actual humorous flash since forever, also known as Goose. Not much really happened this month really. August: Sophomore year had started, literally the very first day there were already a bunch of nerds, I’ve never seen that many nerds in one place. Although many friends had gone to another school, my more major ones stayed, and I talked to more people from last year that I had barely talked to then. My major friends however are still the arrogant, judgemental, immature people I know, so there’s work needed to be done with them, I do admit though they have become people since 9th, but like I said, they still need stuff to work on. September: LITERALLY BARELY ANY ART THIS MONTH, AHA, mostly because I was working on my RebootOCT audition. I have however made developement for a new set of characters (I have for a while now actually, but I didn’t work on their descriptions yet), example being Jesse here in the September block. October: Again, no major art this month, still working on the RebootOCT audition, But I did finalize Mozu’s ref (not uploaded this month though). Even though I finalized his ref this month...THE REF PRODUCTION ACTUALLY STARTED IN FEBRUARY, AHA, I just didn’t add all the information till this month. Also I was OldManJenkins this month. November: I uploaded my RebootOCT audition this month AND got accepted! My first OCT after 3 years of trying! So that was really great new for me! But I have to work on my Expressions project at the same time, so, It’s going to be hell to work on both things. Also I finished The Office...I never felt this emotional for a show. December: The year is almost done, I got accepted to my first OCT, My motivation returned, friends starting to realize mistakes (although they quickly forget to destroy mistakes), new eye for someone at school, I’m starting to be happy again because I’ve been talking to online friends again, Although the year started a LITTLE rough, it wasn’t so bad of a year actually. I would draw out gifts for friends, I don’t really have the time to, for online friends at least, but rather I have something written for an important friend.
